Junction Boxes

Provided as an alternate connection option to electrical couplings, Mine Cable Services custom designs and manufactures a variety of junction box systems tailored to each customer’s site requirements. Available in voltages ranging from 8kV up to 25kV, the MCS series of Junction Boxes are in use around the globe.

Standard Features & Benefits:

• Designed to accommodate posiclamp to posipin connection on all phases, grounds, and pilots
• Tow hooks allow for easy relocation around minesite as required
• Phase spacing is designed to meet the requirements of CSA C22.2#31
• Roller arm activated microswitches improve operator safety
• Nema 4 rated enclosures provide protection from falling dirt, windblown dust, driving rain, snow and ice.
• All junction boxes CSA certified

• Available entrance options include strain relief, permanent coupler, or split entrance plates
• Floor mounted insulators and bussbars
• Custom colours available by request
• Includes Electrical Hotstick assembly and padlockable hardware for added safety
